Rabbi Aryeh Lang, a native of Miami and Brooklyn, studied in Israel and at the Rabbinical College of America, where he was ordained by the former Chief Rabbi of Israel- Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu.  The 31-year-old Chabad Rabbi is a veteran of global volunteer Jewish community work, having visited such exotic places as Peru, Denmark, Finland, Slovakia and Idaho- where he provided educational programs and Holiday events benefiting small Jewish communities. Aryeh spent many summers as a counselor and Head counselor for Jewish summer camps in California , New York & Canada.

Rabbi Aryeh also taught college students at the Rabbinical College of America, located in Morristown, NJ-before marrying his wife Leah.

Leah Lang (nee Simons) was born and raised in Sydney, Australia. After graduating High School, Leah studied in Seminaries- both in Melbourne, Australia and Jerusalem, Israel where she received her degree in Judaic Studies.

Leah has vast experience in the areas of children’s programming and education.  Upon graduating she worked as a teacher and program director at Chabad of Beverly Hills, CA – teaching Hebrew at the local public schools, and providing extra curricular activities for youth. Throughout her high school years, she worked as a successful counselor and head counselor in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, California & Riga-Latvia.  Leah specially enjoys working in Early Childhood education- thus spending the last couple of years teaching at Pre-schools in Manhattan,NY and Malibu, CA.

Chabad of Camarillo, like its ever-growing parent organization, is all about growth—and not geographic growth. -Spiritual, personal growth- what real growth is all about!

Chabad as a whole strives to bring Jews closer to Their Heritage.  And that’s why Chabad of Camarillo offers the only Jewish preschool in town, Lunch ‘n’ Learn workplace Torah study sessions; Kaballah classes; Bar/Bat Mitzvah classes and private Hebrew and Judaic literacy tutoring for adults and children; chaplaincy, visitations and classes at area hospitals, retirement homes and senior centers, respectively.  Chabad also offers Shabbat/holiday services, activities and dinners; summer day camps and Mommy and Me programming; Jewish women’s and CSUCI student’s group; mezuzah and tefillin awareness; and complete rabbinical officiating at Jewish lifecycle events.

Having recently acquired a new Torah scroll, Chabad is even better equipped to serve our community.

Aryeh, Leah, Mushka,Mendel, Yakov & Zev personally invite you to feel right at home at Chabad of Camarillo.  Swing by for a Torah class; A mitzvah or two or some spiritual growth at Shabbat services.

Our goal is to provide a warm, friendly, non-judgmental environment for Jews from all walks of life.

Chabad’s message is that no Jew belongs more than you!

Looking forward to meeting you!
